At Burning Man 2023, House of Fabl designed and produced it's most ambitious storytelling art project to date - a 270 meter-wide, 1,000-Drone Show Sky Story titled "Unlocking the Mysteries," accompanied by a custom soundtrack and intricately linked to the massive Chalice to Eleusis art installation. This dynamic and multifaceted pairing stood out as one of the largest and most technically complex art projects on the Playa.

In narrative collaboration with Brian Muraresku, author of 'The Immortality Key', and Christiana Musk, House of Fabl's artists Hunter Leggitt, Keenan Hock, and Jonathan Berry developed an immersive experience that artistically narrates the fascinating tale of a 2,000-year-old, women-led secret mystery cult from the ancient Greek and Roman empires. This narrative weaves in profound recent discoveries that connect these Eleusinian Mysteries rituals to our modern culture.

This complex production, which took six months to conceptualize, three months to produce, and involved over 30 people, was scheduled to run throughout the week-long Burn. It was to include a diverse lecture series and curated events. Unfortunately, due to the severe complications from the mud storm, the Chalice installation was only available for audience engagement for three days, and the Drone Show flew just two unscheduled performances during the quieter hours of the night.

Despite the limited exposure, House of Fabl is incredibly proud of the achievement and the impact the artworks had on their audiences at Burning Man.
